Big BIG news!! + Mockingjay Part 2!

Okay so last journal entry I told you all I had some big news in the works, but didn't wanna say just yet...well, technically I COULDN'T because it wasn't set in stone, but now it is!

Come next week, December 2nd, I'm heading to Scotland!! YES!! After 6 years I'll finally get to meet my best friend and little sis Gemzybabee  This is ALL thanks to her incredible family...and my own for helping with the passport and other things, but just...

I'm simultaneously a nervous wreck, anxious, and freaking EXCITED all at once!!

Part of me is just hating the thought of having to come back DX But hey maybe the next trip can be bringing her here for a bit before we decide where we wanna live lol

Then at the same time knowing I can come back comforts me...I feel like Kairi at the beginning of KH1.  How she was scared at first before their journey but was comforted because she knew she could come home.  Just...I'm gonna be clinging to Gem I just know it XD

ANYWAY art will likely be a bit slower but I'm gonna be sure and get pictures, and all of the RP kids will still go up as planned so no worries there.

Also I saw Mockingjay Part 2 last Friday, yes, on release day, and LOVED it...omg

!!SPOILERS FOR MOCKINGJAY PART 2 YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Katniss telling Gale "Goodbye Gale" towards the end, I was like HA! So much they added to the movie and that was one thing I loved cause it wasn't in the book cause she wasn't talking much.  I was like IN YOUR FACE.  I like Gale's character but he's so jealous and possessive and blood-thirsty sometimes it drives me crazy.

Obvious Peeta and Katniss shipper XD And speaking of them...

While I'm annoyed they left out "Don't let him take you from me" when they kissed in the city sewers, that was negligible.  The ENDING was precious...I was afraid how they'd handle it...since the ending of the book was so rushed.  The movie KINDA was, but they did alright by it.  I loved how Katniss hugged Peeta when he was planting the bushes instead of just running away. I love that they kept in Peeta keeping Katniss from taking the nightlock pill after she killed Coin.  I loved that they kept in the "Real or not Real" where she says she loves Peeta, and the ENDING...

While I have no idea why they changed it from the older girl child and the younger boy child and gave Katniss and Peeta an older boy and then Katniss a baby girl (presumably anyway since this was a baby) I was still so happy to see it.  Seeing them happy and having their little ones...Peeta getting that hug from his son omg it was adorable.  And it was nice Katniss having the baby to give that final monologue to, and it just showed she was coming to peace within herself and was happy and in love with her family...healing.  It was amazing and I'm so happy they did it as well as they did.

Another thing I loved was when Boggs was dying...in the book he's telling Katniss what she needs to do and one thing he says is "Kill Peeta" I never liked that line it was too calloused especially since he just got done telling Peeta they were all there for him while he was healing.  In the movie it was switched to "Kill Peeta if you have to" which was MUCH MUCH better, and understandable, since Peeta was sent there by Coin hoping he would kill Katniss.  I was just happy they fixed that line because it was just so...wrong in the book.

Finnick and Annie's wedding was precious <3 I'm still so upset over poor Finnick.  His death was so rushed in the book like one minute he's there the next he's gone,  but watching it play out was somehow even worse.  I wanted to cry XD I almost did.  The one time I cried was because of what happens to poor Prim...I started crying before it even happened because I knew it was coming just...UGH DX Stupid Gale! Stupid Coin too for sending Prim there.

The last thing I took from it was...HAYFFIE!! YES!  Haymith and Effie is a REAL THING now!  I just...when Katniss and Haymitch are leaving the Captiol he kissed Effie's cheek then it turns into a full on kiss! GAH!! They weren't really shown as an item in the book but me and others started shipping them...THEN THAT KISS! It was so cute! I could hardly believe it it was just that amazing <333

I'm sad that the series is over but I think they did alright by it. Obviously movies are never as good as the book but I really can't wait to see Mockingjay Part 2 again XD  It was just that amazing <3

Anyway, yes, Mockingjay Part 2 was awesome and Scotland here I come!!
