RP Anniversary: Saboru Spades

Next up for August!!

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated that they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day that they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

Bio time!!

Full name: Saboru Petals Spades
Parents: Akaious Spades and Clarissa Petals

Siblings: Older brother Naoko, older sister, Evelette, and a younger sibling on the way

Saboru was first used a day after he was born so, RP 448 corresponds to August 26th, while his birthday is, obviously today.

Saboru Spades is the third child of Akaious and Clarissa, their second son. He's a mini of his father, not just in looks but in behavior. He tends to be very sarcastic and can sometimes be rough on people, earning a scolding from his older sister, Evelette. Sometimes his personality clashes with Naoko's more gentle one, but he's got a soft side beneath. Like his father, it just takes something special to see, and even more so, to reach.

Again, I explained the whole big family tree on Orotei's picture last week so, be sure to check that out lol Of note is that Mariko and Roku, Shadow and Claudia's children, are also getting a younger sibling.

Saboru gets most of his looks from his father, the gray fur and hair, the purple in his mask, which is slightly similar to his cousin Orotei's, with the single frond in the middle and smaller ones above his eyes, only he only has one above each eye, yet they are bigger and longer. He also has the family spade mark on his cheek, and yet his is unique in that it is positioned upside down on his face. His hair is much bigger than Akaious' as well.

He gets his blue eyes from his mother, and a very unique bit, pink hair from her, behind his mask. Pink's not usually something you'll see on a male, but he takes it in stride. He calls it coral rather than pink when being teased, and if it continues, he shuts down grumpily, insisting he loves it, since it came from his mother who, naturally, he loves very much. He tends to tease Citrine and Ichiro, Naoko's and Evelette's love interests, but can only get away with so much with Citrine, and a bit more with Ichiro. For all his gruffness, sarcasm, and attitude, Saboru is a good kid, and also a strong one.
