Next up for December!!

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

First used the same day they're both born, but, obviously this needs explaining XD

Matilda and Preston are the first born children of Azrael and Leslie Paylor, who goes by the name Paylor most of the time. First borns, so you get the story of their parents first.

I'll say it right now. I've done A LOT with Paylor's back story, but I'll give you the one that goes with the RP and not just my little alternate stories XD

Paylor is Luke's second in command in his platoon. She's also the only female in it. When she first comes to the lab she's hard nosed and runs a tight shift, leaving little room for emotion. She's close to Luke but there's never been any romance between them, rather, she comes to see him as a big brother, an older one, since she's in her later twenties when he's in his mid forties.

Shortly after the platoon sets up their new base, someone named Azrael comes and is held there by Miles Taylor as a favor for the Guardians. He's one of two warriors for Amadi the devil Queen...although, the actual title escapes me XD He was meant to serve Amadi and if the other one awoke they could be death and ruin to the world. The other stays asleep. Azrael is kept there just to keep him away from Amadi's clutches.

Azrael's got a sad past. Long ago, he had a wife and children that were killed, likely by the devil, since he was meant to serve her alone and have no life outside of that. He's very bitter at the time he's put to sleep, and he is when he wakes up, but something gets his attention while he's at the lab. Leslie Paylor.

Paylor's got a sad life too. When she's fourteen she comes home from school and finds both her parents murdered, and the baby brother her mother was pregnant with is obviously dead too. She is so shaken by this, joining the military, using Luke's name to get into his platoon, is the way she decides to cope.

Again, she's not the best with feelings by this point, especially femininity, but Azrael flirts with her, smirking and only giving her little bits at a time. Paylor's curiosity gets the better of her, and she decides to learn how to flirt back, being very awkward at it at first.

Needless to say...their relationship becomes very...heated XD That's where Matilda and Preston come from. As electrically charged as that part of the relationship is, they do love each other. Sometimes they bicker, they had one bad fight before the twins were born, but managed to pull through it, and you can tell they really do love each other. It's something that's only gotten stronger over the past year with the twins in their life. They're a favorite couple of ours. You might remember a picture I posted of Paylor with her baby bump that was called Little Superior. Azrael still calls her that to this day XP

But you also might remember in that story I only referred to Paylor having on baby, a little girl. This is because Preston was added literally the day after Matilda was born XD I'll explain.

I kinda had a dream about Paylor having another baby less than a day after Matilda was born, but on the following day, which is why they've got separate birthdays. The baby seems dead inside of her at first, but a heartbeat is quickly heard. Paylor gets the idea in her head that her baby brother that she never met must have saved her child, which turns out to be a son, so she names him Preston in memory of her brother. This is why Matilda is born on the 14th, but Preston on the 15th. I just decided to post them both today. There was no sense in splitting them up since they are twins.

Matilda is Daddy's little girl. She also gets called Little Superior sometimes since she reminds him so much of her mother. Her pink hair comes from Azrael's darker red fur, and her tan fur comes from Paylor. She has Azrael's eye color, and gets his ears. Personality wise, she's like the child version of Paylor, before she had to endure the deaths of her parents and younger brother, innocent and carefree. She's protective of her baby brother much like Paylor would have been, and even still is, of hers.

Preston is the kind that clings to his mother. He looks more echidna like his mother, getting her dark brown hair, and beautiful blue eyes. The red fur comes from Azrael. Personality wise he's very shy and sweet, again, clinging to his mother and older sister, but as he grows up he gets confidence like his father has, and that same flirtatious side, only he leans more towards sweetness with the eventual girl of his dreams. He's just a sweet and lucky boy.

Now, to explain the half-siblings. Remember when I said I toyed with Paylor's history in alternate universes? In one of them, she does hook up with Luke, and they have two children, Justice and Magi. Their son Justice I invented, and Gem came up with Magi so Justice wouldn't feel so alone. They've also got a new baby sibling coming...pretty sure Azrael wants a complete mini of Paylor next time XP

Azrael and Paylor are a favorite, they really are, we still love them and their story X3
