RP Anniversary: Hikari Rodnara

Last one for September. It's a relatively slow month. Don't worry things pick up for October and November onward XP

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated that they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day that they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

This is Hikari Light Breeze Rodnara! Yep, long name lol Bio time!

Hikari's a special little girl, being born near a place called Heaven's Mirror, which is one of the most beautiful places in creation. The product of a very passionate love between Brandon and Spirit, she was meant to help build up the number of Guardians after so many had been taken out. Since her mother Spirit is the host of the Emerald Heart of Light, she had the potential to have a child that became a Guardian. Brandon steps up and becomes the father of the child, and thus Hikari is born.

Hikari's got quite a big extended family. From Brandon's side she has an uncle, Jake, and three aunts. Jake has four children, Natalia has two, and Aimee, after Seraphina is born, will have two, since she's adopted Darren. Becky doesn't have any yet but that makes eight cousins. She's particularly close to Darren.

Akio is Spirit's father, and while Hikari is VERY close to him, she is very distant from Brandon's family, since they don't see her very often. The only one that has escaped this is Aimee, since she was being held captive by an abusive man for pretty much half of Hikari's life already. Once Aimee was freed and fell in love with Daeron she began spending a great deal of time with her niece. Akio even helped Aimee get settled as she recovered from her ordeal.

The rest of Brandon's family is having to work to repair the relationship. Jake sends Hikari e-mails with pictures of all the places he goes and plans to take her some day. Natalia sends her anything her heart might desire, including a diamond tiara to play with. Becky tries to call as often as she can, and Mikomi and Kate are trying to get around and see their grandkids more often, including Hikari and her new little brother Mako.

Hidama, who's immortal, is the one you could say got Mikomi back in line XP

Despite the family difficulties Hikari's a happy, if not slightly spoiled, child. Brandon loves her to death.

The names Light Breeze come from her mother, who is one of the last surviving members of the Light clan. Rodnara, obviously comes from Brandon.

Anyway, again that's all for September. October and November are considerably busier, and I've got no idea about December as I've not looked that far ahead. lol Anyway I'll see you next month for the next in the series!
