Next up for February!!

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

Deimos is a surprise baby in every sense of the word. When he's born, nobody even knew he was coming...except Ulthane and Annalee. It explains why nobody had seen either of them, Annalee especially, in a long while. Some weren't even aware the two were still together.

First up, Ulthane meets Annalee while going to Spirit Island where a dangerous Guardian has been imprisoned for many years. He goes to make sure this Guardian is still in slumber and locked away, and gets to talking to Annalee in the mean while. She reveals she's lost pretty much all hope at finding her true love, despite being as young as she is. She claims she's pretty much a wallflower, and any time she had hope for love it ended in disaster.

He asks if she'll consider dating him which, she doesn't know if he's serious or not at first, but when she realizes he is, she goes along with it. She's a lot like her mother and grandmother, a bit sassy but has a shy and sweet side that Ulthane gets to see. The last anyone hears is that they're still a couple, and then they disappear for a time. Not even Annalee's family knows what she's really up to.

What's really happened is Annalee conceives a baby. Ulthane, fearing what the devil half of Amadi might do to the child of an angel, has little choice but to hide Annalee away in an isolated location the entire time she's pregnant. This is made worse by the fact that Ulthane is away almost constantly, needing to guard heaven's gates, so Annalee's only company for the most part, is her unborn son.

There's a lot of loneliness and tears and frustration, but Annalee knows she has to stay hidden from everyone to protect her baby. It's hard because she can't share in the waiting with people like her parents and sister and brother. She's a little similar to her great grandmother Deannalee who was so close to her own baby, Baralai, having very few people she could turn to at time. Annalee tries to be strong, and when the day comes that her baby is born, her son Deimos, she knows it's finally time to be free again.

She's a little depressed at first, fearing rejection and being chastised by her family, but they're forgiving. The hardest one is her mother, Alexina, who's a bit more critical since it's her first grandchild, and her baby girl had to endure so much alone. She does eventually forgive Ulthane but, they've got a bit of a funny relationship now because of it, Alexina using what happened as an excuse to tease her son-in-law.

Appearance wise Deimos looks a good deal like his mother, having her purple fur and blue eyes, and gray hair. Parts from his father include the obvious angel wings, and the blue shading in his hair. Personality wise Deimos is cheeky, but largely sweet. His first element is air and is therefore his strongest, shown by the armbands he wears, part of his mother's culture. Like Deannalee and Baralai were, Annalee and Deimos are very close and have a strong mother/son bond.

Alright that does it for Deimos! I may or may not have messed up part of his design but, I did my best XD I'll see you in a couple of days for Sasha!
