First up for February!!

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated that they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day that they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

Bio time!!

Atherton is another case of being born after midnight in Gem's time, which was when I was in Scotland, so RP 1607 is for February 6th but his birthday is on the seventh.

He is the third child and second son of Miles Taylor and Sayaka. I seem to remember issues while she was pregnant with him...but then again Miles Taylor's lab seems to get attacked a lot...regardless she carries Atherton just fine and they're both okay. No big controversy or trouble with him or his birth.

It turns out he's quite the mix; Athal took a bit more after Miles Taylor with physical looks, getting more of Sayaka's colors. Arries got more of Sayaka's physical looks but more of Miles Taylor's colors. Atherton is smack in the middle. He gets both types of ears. His orange fur is deeper than Arries' is, closer to Miles Taylor's shade. He gets brown hair from Miles Taylor and the blue. The red and white tips are from Sayaka. His deep magenta eyes are from her as well. He gets the fox tail and his hair style is more like Miles Taylor's, and yet the fringe shape and style are more like Sayaka. Again he's quite the blend.

Personality wise Atherton is a quiet and intellectual child. He matures quickly, and isn't as prone to snapping as much as Miles Taylor is, but Sayaka's snarky side can show from time to time with a cheeky grin. All in all he's a peaceful and hard-working kid. By his first birthday Miles Taylor has gone through a lot of growth and maturity himself and this lends itself to Atherton as he looks up to his father growing up.
