Next up for March!!

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

Now...I'm sure those bios are confusing XD I will explain why. These twins are very, very special.

Scarlette Everlark was another member of Miles Taylor's research facility, specializing in the animals they cared for on their preserve. Ordiloku and Hasoku are twin brothers, that once ruled the Kinate kingdom together. They had a wife that they shared, peacefully, and one daughter that continued their lineage. After her mother died, the two of them retreated, being immortal and not dying, so staying removed as the world continued without them.

However the twin kings return to the world when their kingdom needs their guidance. They end up meeting everyone at the lab at one point, including Scarlette, and another girl, Madge. The two of them ask both Scarlette and Madge on a date, even with the knowledge that another male, Satoshi, was interested in Madge, but simply hadn't made a move. He reacts to this news wishing Madge the best, but is clearly troubled by it. It turns out Ordiloku had asked Madge in order to give both her and Satoshi a gentle nudge, and it works. Madge realizes that she does love Satoshi, and is encouraged to go with him, as he is encourage to return this.

Scarlette is happy for them, but feels bad for Ordiloku being left out, and so she invites him to come with her and Hasoku.

They spend time together for a bit before Ordiloku gets captured, involved in Uryu's plan to try and bring back the echidna population. He's badly injured, and lingers on the edge of death for awhile even after he is rescued. Hasoku is stressed out by this, but Scarlette steps up to help.

She massages Hasoku's shoulders, keeps him fed, makes sure he sleeps, and basically just stays by his side to comfort him. She reads her novels to him, and even to Ordiloku as he remains comatose. She keeps Ordiloku as healthy as she can, making sure his fur and hair are clean, moving his legs and arms to keep him limber, and talking to him to keep his spirit as close as possible.

This comfort and affection don't go unnoticed. When Ordiloku does awaken she continues to look out for the boys. One evening, after Ordiloku has offered Uryu forgiveness, she is asked if there is anyone she loves, and she responds shyly saying there is, only, she cannot choose. Scarlette is...very, very shy, and so she was reduced to squeaking by this point, but the twins fill in the gaps.

History winds up repeating itself, and Ordiloku and Hasoku share a woman again, a wife, peacefully.

This is why the twins here are so special. Scarlette spends her nights with the two of them together, frequently. Sometimes it's just one of them, but most often it's both in one night. When the twins are conceived, it turns out to be one twin coming from Ordiloku, and the other, from Hasoku. So, they are cousins and siblings at the same time.

Annalise Marie is Ordiloku's daughter. She looks the most like an echidna but has a lot of her mother's coloring, including her mother's beautiful hair, from which she gets her name. She is not as overly shy as her mother, but is very sweet, and very forgiving just as her father is. She is very much a daddy's girl, but, keep in mind despite being cousins the twins see both of the brother as their fathers. Annalise calls both Ordiloku and Hasoku Daddy, even though she knows Hasoku is her uncle.

Connor Mikau is Hasoku's son. He has the ring-tailed cat ears like his mother has, and gets most of his colors from his father. He's fun loving, and strong, enjoying fighting and physical combat like all Kinates do. He can have somewhat of a shy side, but again not overly like his mother. He's terribly close to Scarlette, however.

Their new sibling is Ordiloku's child but...yeah I'd imagine Hasoku will have another XP As amazing a family as this is it's a very close one, and very filled with love. Scarlette's parents are Rhett and Melanie, Melanie being her step mother, as her birth mother died giving birth to her. She's very, very close to Melanie though, and her half-sister, Janice. It's one big happy family <3
