Time for a new ID! ...rather overdue. I notice I never even changed my age on the last one even though it was made for last year XD
More playing around with SAI, hopefully getting better at coloring digitally...course I know it's a process XD I didn't do as much detailing since she's in relative shadow but...yeah lol
I had been meaning to draw Halo and color her digitally now that I can and since I needed to do a new ID anyway here you go XD I've been learning more...for instance I've finally learned how to color gold and adapted coloring silver from that. Got to color gems again, and I'm still learning more about using clipping groups to color flesh tones. I only worked on the face; I left the insides of the ears alone because I added the shadow and the lights and decided they looked fine.
Coloring darker pictures like this I think will help me learn more about shading and highlighting. Obviously I could have done way more with it but felt better just letting it rest so I could move to the next project =3
And yes I love those little light balls XP
Titled "Glimmering Halo" because of the glimmering balls of light and well...her name being Halo XD Not exactly the type of setting you'd associate her with, the badass that she is, but I think it suits.
