Brooke and Cody

You have to have read "Enough for Me" to have ANY idea who these two are.

As for here I'll give you a bit more. This little bit fits them when they're older, closer to the age they look here.

And if you're completely clueless, Brooke and Cody here are my answer to Amy Rose's parents.

REMEMBER THIS IS FOR WOLAD!!!!! Most of you remember that Mr. Rose went insane and tried to kill his own grandchildren in "For the Love of Eternity" and way back in the beginning of that series he was pretty pissed about Amy dating Knuckles. Mrs. Rose pretty much does nothing and gets abandoned by Mr. Rose by the time the TSoTL series is over.

I HAVEN'T COME UP WITH WHY THAT HAPPENS YET! THIS BACK STORY IS FOR MY CURRENT SERIES, WOLAD!

Sorry for the caps...so many people don't seem to get it XD I don't KNOW why Cody goes crazy in TSoTL. "Enough for Me" and anything I do with them going forward only involves my current story. I may never explain why they're like that in the other story. Live with it XD

Anyway, so, for WoLaD, here's what you should know. This is by the time Amy is sixteen or so.

Brooke Chamberlain Rose

Age: 33
Parents: Riddick and Beverly Chamberlain
Children: 2 Daughters

Amy, 16
Megan, 6 months

Brooke is the youngest descendent of Arandor by the time his powers begin to awaken. She and Aerealei Brokenstar are distantly related by a common ancestor. It is unknown when her family precisely broke away from the Valordian tribe. Shadow lost track of them for over 500 years while he tried to look after the feuding echidna tribes.

Brooke met Cody when they were in preschool, and they were always friends. They lost touch while Cody's mother cheated on his father, divorced him, and eventually died in a terrible accident, leaving her new husband with her money and Cody and his father out in the cold. The two fell in love, but when her parents saw them kiss, they forbade her from seeing him. After two years pass, Brooke and Cody finally run away together. Their daughter Amy is born when they are seventeen.

By this time Shadow, trying to instruct a young Kashkie, manages to find Brooke again. Hiding himself with his powers he approaches her as she sleeps, awaiting the birth of her daughter. He confirms that the Daughter of the Light is within her, able to feel Arandor's power within Brooke. Shortly after she is born, Shadow approaches Cody and Brooke, explaining everything to them. He says the only way to protect Amy is to take her from them.

Like Armundae and Aerealei, the parents believe Shadow's story. Because he promises to reunite them someday, they entrust Shadow with their little girl. For the next fifteen years, Cody and Brooke, like Armundae, wander around in hiding, quietly fighting Mukot's armies and gathering intel for Shadow.

About half a year before they are reunited with Amy, Cody and Brooke have their second daughter, Megan. Shadow believes if Megan has any abilities, she will most likely have healing powers, as her distant cousins, the Brokenstar Twins do.

Shadow later explains that Brooke and Hailamei are very special. They are the only two girls that are able to bear a child of perfect light. For the entire family tree between them, Arandor's Light is sleeping in his descendents. It's only when he has his own daughter, Amarie, and when Amy is being born that the Light is..."alive" That's what makes Brooke and Hailamei so special.

Cody Rose

Age: 33
Parents: Preston Rose, Ally Garcia (remarried+deceased)
Children: 2 Daughters

Amy, 16
Megan, 6 months

Now a bit of info on Cody.

Cody is labelled by Shadow as the strongest hedgehog alive. Upon meeting his future son-in-law, Knuckles, the subject of his strength is brought up. Knuckles wants to test it, and Cody is able to beat him in a short-lived arm wrestling match. Both Knuckles and Hidama are stunned, while Cody can only grin.

He blames it on being older, and on having excercised his strength for his entire life. He credits working on repairing vehicles with his father, all of the heavy lifting and difficult work helping him build strength.

That strength doesn't always help Cody however. Over the fifteen years that he and Brooke wander and wage battles with Mukot's forces, Cody is tested time and time again. The first encounter exposes him and Brooke, causing Mukot to send assaults on them regularly, infuriated that he still cannot find Amy.

In his first battle, Cody sustains a deep scratch on his left arm. It never fully heals, the skin permanently red, where fur won't grow back. After this, Cody always carries a loaded gun with him. After Shadow tells him it will serve him little protection, Cody takes up using a scythe. He practices with it, and it becomes a very deadly weapon when he wields it.

Cody, like Armundae, builds a strong friendship with Shadow. They are the only two fathers to do so, for the fathers of Knuckles and Hidama, and Jade were unwilling to believe the warnings. Cody even gets to meet Armundae, and for awhile, the three, including Brooke, travel together, leaning on each other for support since they cannot be with their children.

Shadow, however, brings the three news of their children, even pictures, and shares their pain, understanding the heavy sacrifice all three parents were making. He encourages Cody not to be afraid to keep building his family, for Amy is finally getting to the point where she can protect herself, and because Mukot already knows where they all are. Now, the fight is fair.

Once reunited with Amy, able to fight alongside everyone, Cody, along with Armundae, becomes one of the major leaders. He is quite fond of his son-in-law, promising himself never to treat Knuckles like Brooke's father treated Cody.

Like Amy is, Cody is one the most hated enemies Mukot has. Anyone marrying in to Arandor's bloodline, Shadow claims, is chosen by Arandor himself, even though his spirit is barely alive inside of Kashkie. Cody proves to be impossible for Mukot to defeat, and one of the only people who can easily hold off UnLight and UnDark in combat.

He loves his daughters dearly, as he loves Brooke. He is proud of all he was chosen to do, and is one of the few who takes everything Shadow says seriously.

Way too much talking XD I did most of that for a certain friend of mine who I am apparently taunting too much, and will probably be even more excited after reading all of that XD

The thing hanging around Cody's neck is his aviator jacket. Again, if you haven't read the story you won't get it XD I LOVE Brooke's tights <3 I added them at the last minute.

Anyway...yeah...I did parents for Knuckles, I wanted to do some for Amy...especially after how badly I treated them in TSoTL. They needed redemption in WoLaD.

Remember, when thinking of TSoTL and WoLaD think of parallel universes. It's basically the same people living somewhat different lives. Major relationships aren't affected, but other things are.

So...yeah, I swear I'm working on it. I left y'all hanging with the death of Kashoku....sorry ^.^;

I'll most likely do parents for Jade, but just for fun. She's the only one who still needs them XD

And YES, I gave Amy a little sister...so shoot me. I gave Knuckles a brother...so....whatever.

I warn you though, she's not the only one in my story to be receiving a new sibling. O_O That's all I'm saying.
